The 247-entry field in the 2019 Card Player Poker Tour Seneca Fall Poker Classic $1,000 no-limit hold'em main event has been narrowed down to just four players left with a chance to secure the title and the top prize of $53,419. In addition to the trophy and the top payout, the eventual champion of this event will also grace the cover of an upcoming issue of Card Player magazine.
Day 2 came to a close with Tom Babiarz in the lead. The Fillmore, NY bagged up 3,065,000. Veerab Zakarian is the next largest stack with 1,700,000, while Peter Kaemmerlen is not far behind with 1,655,000. Henry Zou is the shortest of the four remaining players with 960,000. Play resumed at 11:00 a.m. local time on Sunday, Nov. 17 with 48 players still in the hunt. Only the top 27 finishers made the money. Defending champion of this event Victor Adams cashed, but fell short of making the final table. By the time the unofficial final table of ten was decided, Babiarz had worked his way into the chip lead. Start-of-day leader Harpreet Padda was still among the biggest stacks, as he entered ten-handed action in fourth chip position.
Leo Kaplin was the first player to hit the rail after play resumed at the final table, earning $4,143 as the tenth-place finisher. Steve Calvaneso took home $4,906 when his pocket kings failed to hold up against the A-Q of Henrey Zou.

Harpreet Padda's run came to an end when his A-J failed to outrace the pocket sevens of Babiarz, who was running away with things at this point. Padda earned $10,029 as the sixth-place finisher.
Play concluded not long after David Phong hit the rail in fifth place. He got all-in with K-J and was live against the A-10 of Henry Zou, but an ace on the board locked up the pot for Zou and sent Phong home with $13,300.

So for those of you that are not aware, the poker room at Fallsview Casino is closed permanently and all poker is ran through the recently renovated poker room at Casino Niagara. Though the games are usually fairly soft at 1-3, the room has introduced a session fee of $6.00 every 1/2 hour. Not a killer, but feels fairly expensive to me. During busy periods there is usually enough tables to keep you from waiting too long. My biggest gripe is that there are seemingly no rewards or incentives for playing there. Don't expect any comps or player points. In addition, though you can get a meal button, you may not bring any food into the poker room which is a pain. Expect to have to wander off to eat. They do offer two weekly MT tournaments which are pretty good. Tuesdays 185 buy in and Sunday 385. There seems to be a couple new managers there that are cutting their teeth and are a little overzealous, but that should fade.
